About Utterwick Engineering Solutions
Utterwick Engineering Solutions traces its origins to Hartfield & Sons, a structural steelwork and general engineering firm acquired by Utterwick Group in 1996. The Beeston facility has been the division's base of operations since that acquisition.
Under the Utterwick name, the division expanded into fluid systems engineering and valve manufacturing while retaining the Hartfield brand for its established valve product range.
Management
The division is led by Graham Nettleship, Managing Director. Graham joined the company in 1999 as a project engineer at Hartfield & Sons and has held various roles within the division before being appointed MD.
Facilities
The Beeston site houses the division's manufacturing, fabrication and office facilities. Key plant includes three Mazak CNC machining centres and a Ficep beam drill line installed in 2019.
UES employs approximately 650 people.
